Seeing the finished article, especially when refurbishing particularly dilapidated buildings, is the most exciting part of my job. I work with clients who are now so much more aware about sustainability and the impact the construction industry has on the environment. I’ve seen sustainability moving up the priority scale over the last decade and it’s great to see it being such a key consideration when refurbishing/constructing buildings. Working towards carbon reduction, improving the quality of our working environment, and re-purposing buildings to ensure that they are fit for the future, are all things I’m proud to be a part of.
