Building Forensics involves the specialist investigation and diagnosis of building issues to identify root causes, followed by delivery of clear, practical solutions. We combine our expertise in technical building surveying, façade consultancy, MEP engineering, fire safety, and project delivery to create tailored project teams under a single lead. This allows us to provide our clients with the robust commercially focussed advice they need, whatever the circumstances.

We take a forensic approach, starting with how buildings are designed, constructed, used, and maintained.
We follow this with a structured, evidence-led assessment of the issues and their context, supported by targeted inspections and intrusive investigations as required to establish a robust factual baseline.
We contextualise this by reviewing of pre/post contract paperwork (where applicable), design information, lease documentation and the like.

We provide clear, commercially focused recommendations setting out remedial options, cost/programme implications, and strategic advice on approach, liability, and cost recovery.
